Battery charging
To charge the W800 radio buoy battery put the W840 charge module close
to the radio buoy (5) and tighten the W840 module on the contacts of the
W800 radio buoy by the wing nut. It is not necessary to tighten the screw
with the wing nut completely but few turns are sufficient so that the spring
compression on the screw ensure the electrical contact. The radio buoy is
switched off during the charging phase.
How to fix the radio buoy to the fixing bracket
When the W800 radio buoy is not used or when it is charging, it is
recommended to keep it fixed to the fixing bracket. To place the radio buoy
on the fixing bracket, proceed as follows:
Take the radio buoy from above as shown in figure (8) and put it
on the bracket (7), with the radio buoy electrical contacts towards
the outside.
Take the lever and pass it over the radio buoy (9).
Move the locking lever under the holding hook with light pressure.
For removing the radio buoy follow the above indicated steps in
reverse order.
How to turn off the W800 radio buoy
The W800 radio buoy is automatically deactivated when it is removed from
the water.
How to receive the W800 radio buoy information
The W800 radio buoy information can be received only by the W830
receiver and processed through the software called W830 "Data Manager".
