When straightening wet hair you will hear a hissing sound and the unit will steam.This is a good thing
– it is the sound of excess water in your hair evaporating and this is not harmful to the condition of
your hair.
Dry Mode – Use on Dry Hair
Before use, ensure the hair is clean, dry and tangle-free.
1.
Start styling on lower temperatures first. Select appropriate temperature for you hair type using the
controls on the side of the product. '+' increases the temperature '-' decreases the temperature.
Recommended Temperatures
Temperature
140°C - 170°C
170°C - 200°C
200°C - 230°C
Caution: the hottest temperatures should only be used by experienced stylers.

The temperature bars and digital display will stop flashing when the desired temperature is reached.

Working on one section at a time, run the straightener through the entire length of the hair without
stopping.
4.
Only repeat twice per section to prevent damage to the hair.
5.
After use, press and hold the off button for two seconds to turn off then unplug the appliance.
6.
Let the appliance cool down before cleaning and storing away.
Temperature Boost Function
For quick touch ups of stubborn, hard to style sections.
The temperature boost function boosts the temperature to 230°C.
Hold the "+" button for 2 seconds to operate.
Caution: the highest temperature is not suitable for every hair type. If you plan to use this
straightener on the boost setting of 230°C please test on a small section of your hair first.
Temperature Lock Function
Set the desired temperature using the + and - buttons then lock the settings by pressing the "-"
button for 2 seconds. The B symbol will appear on the temperature display.
To unlock the temperature setting, press and hold the "-" button for 2 seconds.
STORAGE
Let the appliance cool before cleaning and storing away.
The plates can be locked together for easy storage:
To lock, close the plates and push the hinge lock forwards (towards the plates).
To unlock, slide the hinge lock backwards towards the cord to the unlocked position.
NOTE: Do not heat the unit in the locked position.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the appliance and allow to cool.
Wipe all the surfaces with a damp cloth.
Don't use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
