d) World clock display
• Press the WORLD button to display the time of one of the 32 megacities in the bottom of the
display.
• Use the UP or DOWN buttons to switch between megacities.
• Press the SNOOZE•LIGHT button to activate/deactivate the daylight saving time function for the
world clock display. If activated, a sun icon appears next to the megacity's abbreviation and the
time advances by 1 hour.
• The following megacities can be selected:

e) Setting the alarm
• You may set 2 different alarms: A1 und A2.
• Press and hold the SNOOZE•LIGHT button for approx. 2 seconds. The hour indicator for alarm
A1 starts flashing.
• Press the UP button to increase the value or press the DOWN button to decrease the value.
Keep the button pressed for fast adjustment.
• Press the SNOOZE•LIGHT button to confirm. The minute indicator for alarm A1 starts flashing.
• Proceed as described above to set the minutes for alarm A1 as well as the hours and minutes
for alarm A2.
• Press the SNOOZE•LIGHT button to confirm. All settings have been applied successfully.
f) Activating / deactivating the alarm function
• Press the ALARM button to activate or deactivate the alarm function.
- Press 1x: only alarm 1 activated
- Press 2x: only alarm 2 activated
- Press 3x: alarm 1 + 2 activated
- Press 4x: alarm 1 + 2 deactivated
• When the alarm function is activated, a bell icon appears in the upper area of the display.
• When the alarm function is activated, the alarm will sound every day at the preset time.
• Once the alarm sounds, press
- the SNOOZE•LIGHT button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will sound again after
5 minutes.
- any button to turn off the alarm.
g) Countdown function
• Press and hold the UP button for approx. 2 seconds. An hourglass icon appears in the display
on the right.
• Use the UP or DOWN buttons to set the minutes in increments of ten minutes. The maximum
countdown time is 90 minutes.
• Press the SNOOZE•LIGHT button to start the countdown.
• Whilst the countdown is running, press the SNOOZE•LIGHT button to pause the timer. Press
SNOOZE•LIGHT again to continue the timer.
• Once the countdown has elapsed, a signal sounds. Press any button to turn off the signal.

h) 12/24-hour display
• Briefly press the SET/MODE button to switch between display modes.
• During 12-hour display mode, the AM or PM indicator respectively appears next to the time.
- AM: Midnight till 11:59 o'clock noon
- PM: 12:00 o'clock till 23:59 o'clock
• During 12-hour display mode, the system uses the American format to display the date (month
first then day).
i) Thermometer
• Briefly press the DOWN button to switch between the temperature units ºC (Celsius) and
ºF (Fahrenheit).
• Once you have inserted the batteries, it can take approx. 3 to 10 minutes for the temperature
display to stabilize.
• The indicator HH appears, if the temperature exceeds the measuring range.
• The indicator LL appears, if the temperature falls below the measuring range.
j) Backlight
Press the SNOOZE•LIGHT button to turn on the backlight for approx. 10 seconds.

Maintenance and cleaning

• The product is maintenance-free except for potential battery replacement and occasional
cleaning.
• Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners.
• Never submerge the product in water to clean it.
• To prevent scratch marks, do not apply too much force on the surface during cleaning.
• Use a dry, clean, soft and lint-free cloth to clean the housing. To remove tougher stains, slightly
dampen the cloth with lukewarm water. You may use a little soap or a mild cleaning agent.

Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household
waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from
the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/
rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable)
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
