FUNCTIONING
START-UP PROCESS
ATTENTION: Read all safety warnings before using the machine. Do not use this air compressor
until you have read and understood all safety precautions and instructions in this manual.
1. Move the lever on the top of the pilot valve to the vertical position. This facilitates a no-load start. The air
compressor will discharge and allow for easier engine starting.
2. Start the engine.
3. When the engine has been running for one to two minutes, return the lever to its original position.
4. Adjust the pressure by adjusting the pressure regulator counterclockwise for less pressure and clockwise for
more pressure.
ATTENTION: If you notice any unusual noise or vibration, stop the air compressor and refer to
"Troubleshooting".
STOP
1. To stop the air compressor, move the engine switch to the OFF position.
2. Drain air from the air tanks by releasing the air with the air tool connected or by pulling on the safety valves.
3. Once the air tank pressure gauge registers less than 10 PSI, open the drain valve under each air tank to drain
all moisture.
4. Allow the air compressor to cool.
5. Clean the air compressor and store it in a safe area and between 0-40

MAINTENANCE

Improper maintenance and storage of the compressor may void the warranty.
ATTENTION: Removal of safety devices, improper maintenance, replacement of parts with non-
original spare parts can result in personal injury.
• Always turn off the air compressor before servicing. Bleed the pressure from the air hose and disconnect the spark
plug wire to prevent the engine from starting unexpectedly.
• All maintenance repairs to the air compressor must be performed by an authorized service technician.
• Check the equipment daily. Repair or replace worn or damaged parts immediately using only original
manufacturer's replacement parts.

REGULAR SERVICING

ATTENTION: Read the instruction manual before servicing. The following procedures must be
performed when the air compressor is stopped.
1. Turn on the air compressor.
2. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the engine.
3. Open all drains.
4. Wait for the air compressor to cool before starting service.
