This converter will convert composite signals of any
video sources (e. g. cameras, video multiplexers,
video recorders, DVD players or games consoles) into
a VGA signal and display them on a PC monitor.
The converter also has a feed-through output, e. g.
to connect a video recorder or an additional video
monitor.
Settings such as brightness, contrast, tint, colour,
resolution and frequency are made via OSD menu.

4 Mounting and Connecting

Via its two mounting brackets (6), the converter can be
mounted by means of screws, e. g. to a wall. To set up
the unit, glue the rubber feet supplied to the lower side
of the unit.
Always switch off the units before making or chang-
ing any connections.
1) Connect the video source to the jack VIDEO IN (7).
2) Connect the VGA monitor to the jack VGA OUT (9).
3) If required, connect an additional video monitor or
video recorder to the feed-through output VIDEO
OUT (8). At the jack, the same signal will be present
as at the input VIDEO IN. It will not be affected by
the settings of the converter.
4) Connect the plug-in power supply unit provided to
the low voltage jack "5 V /1.2 A" (10) and to a mains
socket (100 – 240 V~/ 50 – 60 Hz). Thus, the unit is
switched on; the POWER LED (1) will light up.
5 Operation
If a video signal is present at the input VIDEO IN (7),
the LED SIGNAL (2) will light up.
