Configuration

The transmitters connected to the system bus continuously monitor
the gas concentration in the ambient air.
Communication between the transmitters connected and the
central unit is via the system bus cable.
The LED on the central unit lights up green when there is no alarm
and no fault present.
The contrast of the display can be adjusted in measuring mode with
the keys

CAUTION
!
The gas inlet to the transmitters must not be obstructed in
order to ensure accurate measurement.

Gas concentration display in normal mode

Configuration
To individually configure a device different to the factory default settings,
use a PC and the VarioControl software (see the Technical Handbook).
4.1

Factory default settings

On initial start up, the system operates with the basic factory settings:
The emergency power supply connection and the alkaline batteries
of the central unit are not monitored.
Mean values are calculated over a period of 15 minutes.
Alarm threshold settings for the different transmitters are according
to the table on page 33.
