GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

IMPORTANT POINTS
You have just acquired Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and we thank you for your con-
fidence. In order for this product to meet all your requirements, we ask you BEFORE EACH
USE, to follow the instructions in this manual.
Disregarding the instructions described in this manual could give rise to some serious re-
percussions. We advise that you re-read these instructions from time to time. In addition, the
Supplier or his agent declines all responsibility for any use, storage methods or maintenance
carried out in any other manner than that described in this manual.
IF THE BUYER IS NOT THE END USER, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THESE
INSTRUCTIONS ARE GIVEN TO THE LATTER.
If the product is sold outside the initial country of use, for the safety of the user, the retailer
must supply this manual translated in the language of destination country:
Check that the PPE you have acquired is compatible with the recommendations of all oth-
er components of the fall arrest system. Before use, ensure that the recommendations
specific to each piece of equipment associated with this product, as defined in their man-
uals, are complied with and that they meet the applicable European standards or other-
wise, any other appropriate standard and that the safety functions do not interfere with
each other. Whenever possible, it is strongly advised to personally attribute the PPE to an
individual user.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Conforming to standard EN 795:2012; EN CEN/TS 16415:2013 type B and C
Material type information can be found on the product marking (Polyester or Polyamide).
USE
While in use, protect your PPE against all risks connected with the work environment thermal,
electrical or mechanical shocks, acid discharges, etc...
Where the anchorage device is used as part of a fall arrest system, the user must be
equipped with means to limit the maximum dynamic forces exerted on the user when
stopping a fall, at a maximum value of 6 kN.
Only a fall arrest harness that complies with EN 361 is authorized for use in a fall arrest
system.
If anomalies are found, the device must be declared out of service until an expert author-
izes its reuse in writing.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
• Do not use the anchorage point as a means of handling or lifting (except in the case of
using tripod or gantry)
• The equipment must not be used beyond its limits, or in any other situation than that
for which it is intended.
• Minimize the risk of falling and falling height. Do not climb over the lifeline. See Fig. 2,
page3.
CHECKING (SEE FIG. 1, PAGE3)
Before each use, it is advisable to carry out an in-depth visual examination in order to assure
the integrity of the PPE and any other equipment that could be associated with it (connector,
lanyard, etc) and take any steps needed to carry rescue in total safety. In the event of your
product being damaged, consult the manufacturer or his agent. If you have any doubts re-
garding the safety of the product, or if the product has been used to arrest a fall, it is essential
for your safety that the PPE be withdrawn from service and either returned to the manufactur-
