ing message appears briefly:

mode.

Switching cassette sides

The cassette side facing upward is
side 1.
At any time during cassette playback,
you may switch to the other cassette
side.
Press the 1 or 5 button.

At the end of the tape, the unit switches
automatically to the other side.

Fast forward/rewind

Briefly press the a button.
The cassette winds forward.

The cassette rewinds.
Cassette mode

The cassette winds forward or back-
ward until winding is cancelled or un-
til the end or beginning of the tape is
reached.
The side is switched at the end of the
tape and cassette playback restarts.
At the start of the tape, playback
starts immediately.
Canceling forward/rewind
Press the a or b button.
The car radio switches to cassette
playback.
