Introduction

Your car radio is equipped with an
acoustic feedback signal. Completion
of the functions initiated by the user
(e.g. storing a radio station) is indicat-

ed by a signal tone.

Switching on/off

Switching on

Turn the key in the steering lock to
position 1 or 2.
The car radio switches on if it was
last switched off by withdrawing the
key.

Press the rotary control k .

In both cases, the car radio defaults
to the mode last set, before the unit
was switched off. The operating
mode's main menu is displayed.

Without the key in position 1 or 2, the
car radio automatically switches off
again after approx. 1 hour.

Switching off

Turn the key in the steering lock to
position 0 and remove it.

Press the rotary control k .

If you press the rotary control k
within 3 seconds of withdrawing the
key, the car radio will not switch off.

Anti-theft device

Your car radio is equipped with an anti-
theft device. If the car radio is discon-
nected from the power supply, it is theft-
protected upon reconnection.
In order to be able to use the radio, you
must enter the code printed on your ra-
dio code card.
