D. COMFORT TEMPERATURE ANTICIPATION
Our thermostat is supplied with a temperature anticipation feature allowing initiating the
comfort mode at the right time depending on the time settled by the user in the PRG mode,
in order to realise energy savings and prevent unnecessary heating-up.
Operation logic:
The thermostat registers the required time to reach the programmed setpoint temperature
(in comfort mode).
The thermostat calculates day after day the average time and registers an average per week.
For the week 2, the average of the week 1 will be used for the anticipated heat-up.
If during week 1, an average of 40 minutes is necessary to reach the setpoint temperature,
then from the week 2, the thermostat will anticipate the programming of 40 minutes to heat-
up the device.
If the time is superior to 60 minutes, the thermostat will register "60 minutes" (maximum du-
ration) and will initiate the heat-up automatically. The heating icon will be blinking, proof
that the "time anticipation" is working.
Activation:
On the thermostat, screen shut off; press the central button during a few seconds to enter in
the general settings of the thermostat.
Press the central button to select the menu 9 to reach (choice with + and -):
• 0= OFF, the option is off
• 1=ON, the option is on
▶ Advice: the good definition of the user programs is primordial for a proper functioning
(see dedicated paragraph).
E. PILOT WIRE
It is possible to pilot the heater from a programming control unit distributing the signal accor-
ding to the "pilot wire" technology.
The connection of the pilot wire (by a qualified electrician) coming from the programming
control unit to the receiver at the back of the device is made on the "FP" terminal (central
terminal that is free) of the 5-position terminal block.
Activation of the "pilot wire" mode:
On the thermostat, screen shut off; press the central button during a few seconds to enter in
the general settings of the thermostat.
Press the central button to select the menu 8 to reach (choice with + and -):
• Choose "FP" to activate the pilotage by pilot wire
• Validate with the central button
• Exit the setting menu by pressing the central button during a few seconds, and then press
the central button to come back to the thermostat normal screen.
NB : when the wire pilot mode is on, the thermostat programming is inoperative. The transmitter
is then just a temperature sensor. The pilotage is managed directly and uniquely from the pro-
gramming central (the set values of the different modes and the user programs are not taken
into account anymore).
To have access again to the thermostat programing, turn off the pilot wire feature of menu 9.
