C. DETECTION OF OPENINGS
Our thermostat is supplied with an open window sensor, which allows an automatic drop of its
setpoint temperature in order to realize energy savings and prevent unnecessary heating-up.
The user can modify the settings of this feature.
On the thermostat, screen shut off; simultaneously press on the central button and "PRG"
for a few seconds to enter in the adjustment settings of the option "detection of openings".
Press the central button to select the menu to reach.
The number in the blackened square indicates the menu number, described below:
• Menu 1: activation delay of the detection of openings:
Range: 1 to 5 (multiples of 10 seconds) ex: 3=30 seconds
Choose time pressing + or – and press the central button to validate
• Menu 2 : setting of the delta of temperature detected:
Range: from 1°C to 5°C, in 0.5°C increments
Press + or – to choose and press the central button to validate
• Menu 3 : delay to exit the feature
Range: 1 to 5 (multiples of 10 seconds)
Press + or – to choose and press the central button to validate
• Menu 4 : Positive temperature difference to exit the feature
Range: from 1°C to 5°C, in 0.5°C increments
Press + or – to choose and press the central button to validate
Exemple:
• menu 1: 3 / menu 2: 2°C
The heater will stop to heat if its spots a drop of 2°C in less than 30 seconds
• Menu 3: 3 / menu 4: 4°C
The heater will start again to heat if it spots an increase of 4°C in less than 30 seconds
NB : the exit of the feature is effective according to the settings 3 and 4 or automatically after
15 minutes.
After the detection of openings, the thermostat switches to the absence mode "HOLIDAY"
(suitcase icon), until it returns to the normal mode.
The feature "detection of openings" is always active and cannot be disabled.
▶ Advice: to avoid the activation of the feature, enter in menu 1 a very short activation delay (10
seconds) and a very important temperature delta in menu 2 (-5°C). The improbability of a drop of
temperature of 5°C in less than 10 seconds will avoid the activation of the feature.
