5.5.10 Backlight menu
In the backlight menu, you can adjust the display
backlighting in the range from 10 to 100% .

5.5.11 Wheel circumference menu
In the wheel circumference menu, the wheel cir-
cumference used to calculate the speed can be
adjusted . You can adjust the wheel circumference
of your FLYER e-bike by ±5%.
5.5.12 Automatic power off menu
In the auto power off menu, you can set the au-
tomatic power off time in the range from 10 to
60 minutes. The system will switch off automat-
ically if the bicycle is not moved and no button is
pressed within the chosen time .

5.5.13 Battery mode
If the "normal" battery mode is selected, the e-bi-
ke battery charges up to 100% when it is connec-
ted to the charger . The system also switches to
low-light mode at 0%.
If 'Longlife' is selected, the battery only charges
up to 80% when it is connected to the charger .
When the charge drops to 20%, the rider is infor-
med that they must recharge the battery .
This increases the service life of the battery . This
long-life mode is particularly recommended for
commuters who only travel a short distance and
charge their bike every day .
Even if long-life mode is activated, the battery
may occasionally be charged to 100% . This is
because the internal battery management system
needs to do this in order to calibrate certain valu-
es . When the battery is next charged, charging is
once again stopped when it reaches 80
