14. For safety reasons, never place the appliance on hot
surfaces, a metal tray or a wet surface.
15. Do not place the appliance or lead cable near open
flames during operation.
16. Always use the appliance on a level, uncluttered and
heat-resistant surface.
17. Make sure that the lead cable does not hang over the
edge of the worktop or table, since this can cause
accidents, for example if small children pull on the
cable.
18. Route the lead cable so that it is prevented from being
pulled or tripped over.
19. Never wrap the lead cable around the appliance.
20. Always disconnect the lead cable from the wall socket
pulling on the plug, never on the cable.
21. Never carry the base by the lead cable.
22. Use the appliance only indoors.
23. Do not use the appliance near combustible materials
such as curtains etc.
24. Do not use the appliance in the oven or the micro-
wave.
25. Make sure that the lid of the appliance is always com-
pletely closed, to prevent injuries from hot splashing
water.
26. Make sure that all users, especially children, are
aware of the danger of injury from escaping steam or
hot splashing water. Risk of burns!
27. The surface of the cover may become hot during oper-
ation. Therefore always use the handles of the cover.
28. Do not move the appliance as long as it is in opera-
tion, to prevent scalding from splashing water.
29. Do not use the appliance with accessories of other
manufacturers or brands, to prevent damage.
30. Disconnect the appliance from the wall socket after
use and prior to cleaning. Never leave the appliance
unattended when it is connected to the wall socket.
31. Let the appliance cool off before cleaning it.
