Installation
• De te rm ine a location for the system . Avoid dire ct sunlight on the
transm itte r/re ce ive r le ns [C ] and note that the max im um distance
to the re fle ctor is 10m . Make sure to point towards a flat surface
to which the re fle ctor can easily be mounte d. Also kee p in m ind
that whe n m ounting the system too low, an alarm m ight
accidentally be trigge red by small anim als e .g. pe ts.
• Re move the mounting bracke t [B] from the housing by re le asing
the two m ounting bolts [J].
• Use the mounting bracke t [B] as a te mplate to de te rm ine the
position of the mounting hole s and m ount the bracke t with 2
scre ws.
• W he n the cable needs to go through a wall cut away the wall cable
hole [K]; hang the housing ove r the mounting bracke t and mark
the location of the cable hole . Remove the housing and drill the
hole and provide the ne ce ssary cabling. Mount the included rubbe r
seal in the wall cable hole .
• W he n the cable runs on top of the wall cut away the hole at the
bottom of the housing and mount the cable gland [I] in the
ope ning (do not tighte n the nut that cove rs the conical part).
Provide the ne ce ssary cabling.
