Please do not touch the detection window surface as this might affect the
sensitivity of the sensor. If you need to clean the sensor, please disconnect
the power and use a soft cloth and a mild detergent solution to clean it.
For a proper use please check the power of the batteries regularly (see the
section "When the detector light flashes").
