average treatment time

Approx. treatment time
2 minutes per underarm
2 minutes per side
8 minutes
15 minutes
30 minutes
Note: The average treatment times above have been observed during research
and tests. Individual treatment times may vary from person to person.
Note: Fully charged batteries offer at least 150 flashes at intensity 5, which
amounts to an operating time of approx. 15 minutes.

using the appliance on the legs

If you use the appliance to treat your legs, you may have to recharge the
appliance during the treatment. This is normal. How long you can use the
appliance depends on the size of the treatment area and the intensity
setting used.
Tip: Many users combine leg treatments with other activities around the house
such as watching TV or listening to music. You can also try this to make the
experience more enjoyable and relaxing.

how to achieve optimal results

-
Optimal results cannot be obtained with one single session. To remove
all hairs successfully and prevent the hair root from becoming active
again, the treatments have to be repeated once every two weeks for
the first two months. Your skin should be smooth and hair-free by then.
-
To ensure that you keep these results, we advise you to repeat the
treatments on the underarms and bikini line every two weeks. On the
legs regrowth is usually slower. Therefore, treatment of the legs once
every four weeks is probably sufficient to keep your legs smooth and
hair-free. If too many hairs grow back within these four weeks, simply
shorten the interval between treatments again, but do not treat more
often than once every two weeks. It is recommended to adhere
to this frequency for optimum results. When you use the appliance
more frequently than recommended, you also increase the risk of skin
reactions. See section 'Possible side effects and skin reactions' in this
chapter.
-
Avoid treating exactly the same area multiple times during one session
as this does not improve the effectiveness of the appliance. However,
this does increase the risk of skin reactions.
-
Never flash the same area twice without lifting the appliance off the
skin. This prevents excessive heating and possible burning of the skin.
-
It is normal that hairs are still visible after the first few treatments. See
chapter 'Important', section 'How photo-epilation works' for more
information.
