Some of the following symbols may be used on this product. Please study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of these
symbols will allow you to more safely operate the product.

Starting the Engine

move equipment outside and far away from windows,
doors and intake ventilation covers.
1. Check oil level.
Recommended oil is 5W-30.
2. Check gasoline level.
When adding gasoline, use a minimum octane rating of 87
and an ethanol content of 10% or less by volume.
3. Move the choke lever to "ChOKE" position.
4. Move the throttle lever to "FaST" position.
5. Turn the fuel valve to "ON" position.
6. Pull the recoil cord.
7. Move the choke lever to "RUN" position.

Stopping the Engine

In an emergency, turn the engine switch to the "OFF"

Revision Changes
Under normal operation:
---
1. Turn the fuel valve to the "OFF" position.
2. Let the engine run until fuel starvation has stopped the
engine. This usually takes few minutes.
Important: Always ensure that the fuel valve is in the "OFF"
position when the engine is not in use.
