Cleaning and Storage

CAUTION!
❐ Switch off the device by pressing the AUS (off) button and pull the mains plug out of
the plug socket.
❐ The blades are sharp; be careful when handling the mixing container and the grinder
attachment!
❐ Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids! Ensure that the motor unit,
cable or plug do not fall into water or become wet.
❐ Thoroughly clean the mixing container, the grinder attachment and the lid including
all inserts used immediately after each use to prevent germ formation. Do not allow
any food residues to dry on.
❐ The motor unit is not suitable for being cleaned in the dishwasher!
❐ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface.
• Unscrew the tap from the mixing container by turning it anticlockwise and clean the
mixing container, the tap and the lid including all inserts with clear, warm water and a
little mild detergent or in the dishwasher.
• Clean the grinder attachment (lid and fl at blade) with warm water and a little mild
detergent or in the dishwasher.
• Wipe the motor unit with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly.
• Allow all parts to dry completely before assembling the device again and/or putting
it away for storage. Store the device in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to
children.

Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check fi rst of all whether you are able to rectify
a problem yourself. Otherwise you should contact the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!
Problem
The device
does not work.
Possible cause / solution
• Is the mains plug correctly inserted in the plug socket?
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another plug socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
• Is the mixing container or the grinder attachment positioned
(correctly) on the motor unit? The device can only be switched
on if the containers have been positioned and locked in place
correctly on the motor unit.
