Cleaning and Storage

CAUTION!
❐ Before you do any cleaning, turn the rotary switch to position 0 and pull the mains plug out
of the socket!
❐ Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids! Ensure that the motor unit, cable
or mains plug do not fall into water or become wet.
❐ Thoroughly clean the mixing container and the lid immediately after each use to prevent the
formation of germs. Do not allow any food residues to dry on.
❐ The device is not suitable for being cleaned in the dishwasher!
❐ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These could damage
the surface.
Clean the mixing container and the lid with clear, warm water and a little mild detergent.
Only wipe the motor unit with a slightly damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly.
Allow all parts to dry completely before assembling the device again and / or putting it away
for storage. Store the device in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to children.

Troubleshooting

If the device should stop working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself. If you are not, contact the customer service department.
Do not try to repair a faulty device yourself!
Problem
The device does not work.
Possible cause / solution
Is the plug inserted in the mains socket correctly?
Is the mains socket defective? Try another mains socket.
Check the fuse of your mains connection.
Is the lid placed (correctly) on the mixing container and
is the mixing container placed (correctly) on the motor
unit? The device has a safety mechanism. When the
lid is shut correctly, the pin (8a) on the bottom of the
mixing container is pushed out a little. When the mixing
container is placed on the motor unit correctly, the
pin is then pushed into the slot (8b) on the top of the
motor unit. The device can only be switched on if the lid
and mixing container are positioned in place correctly.
