5. Hold the motor unit fi rmly with one hand and use your other hand to turn the shaker
and drinking cup clockwise until it locks in place.
6. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed mains socket that is easily accessible.
7. To switch on the device, press the on/off switch and keep it pressed. Always keep
hold of the motor unit with one hand during preparation!
8. To switch off the device, release the on/off switch.
9. Wait until the blades have come to a complete standstill before you remove the
mains plug from the mains socket.
10. Remove the shaker and drinking cup. For this turn the shaker and drinking cup an-
ticlockwise.
11. Turn over the shaker and drinking cup and carefully unscrew the blade attachment.
12. Screw the lid onto the shaker and drinking cup.
13. Clean the blade attachment immediately after use. Do not allow any food residues
to dry on.

Cleaning and Storage

CAUTION!
• Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before cleaning the device!
• Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids! Ensure that the motor unit,
cable or plug do not fall into water or become wet. There is the risk of an electric
shock.
• Clean the shaker and drinking cup, the lid and the blade attachment after every use
to prevent the formation of germs. Do not allow any food residues to dry on.
• Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents, rough sponges or knives to clean
the device. These can damage the surface.
• Clean the blade attachment, shaker and drinking cup and lid with clear, warm water
and a little mild detergent or in the dishwasher. Allow all parts to dry completely be-
fore you store them away.
• Wipe the motor unit if necessary with a slightly damp cloth.
• Store the device and accessories out of the reach of children and animals. Store
them in a dry place which is protected from direct sunlight.

4. Turn the shaker and drinking cup upside down and place
it in the motor assembly with the blade attachment down.
Please note: A small arrow mark is located on the blade
attachment. Insert the shaker and drinking cup so that the
arrow mark is pointing to the right edge of the motor as-
sembly (see fi gure).
