❐ The device may contain production residues. To avoid harmful effects to your health,
clean the device and all accessories thoroughly before using them for the fi rst time
(see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).
❐ Clean the device and all accessories immediately after each use to prevent germ
formation. Do not allow any food residues to dry on.

Danger of Electric Shock and Fire

❐ Only connect the device to a socket that is properly installed and matches the
technical data of the device (see the "Technical Data" chapter).
❐ Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and does
not come into contact with hot surfaces.
❐ Switch the device off and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket:
– before you remove and/or insert the mixing container,
– before you remove / attach any accessories,
– when the device is not in use,
– before a thunderstorm or
– before you clean the device.
❐ When you want to remove the mains plug from the socket, always pull the plug and
never the cable.
❐ Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids! Ensure that the motor unit,
cable, or plug do not fall into water or become wet.
❐ Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately.
❐ Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
❐ Never cover the device with cloths or similar objects. There is a danger of overheating!
❐ Maintain a suffi cient distance from sources of heat, such as hobs or ovens.

Damage to Property and the Device

❐ Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. The device must
not be used if the device, the connecting cable, the plug or any of the accessories
show obvious signs of damage.
❐ If the device is broken, do not attempt to repair it yourself. If the device, the connect-
ing cable or the plug of the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer or customer service department or a similarly qualifi ed person in order to avoid
any hazards. In the event of any damage, contact our customer service department.
❐ Use only the accessories supplied, or accessories expressly recommended by the
manufacturer. Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer.
❐ Use the device only when it is completely assembled and undamaged.
❐ Never use the stirrer without the suitable insert in the mixing container lid as other-
wise it could become caught in the blades.
