The high-performance SCHUBERTH F 220 firefighter helmet you have selected
is a quality product specially developed to withstand extremely high levels of
thermal stress. It meets the requirements of the EN 443:2008 standard.
Protective helmets are part of personal protection equipment and play a key role
in preventing or at least decisively reducing the extent of head injuries. Please
take time to read through this manual carefully to ensure you do not overlook
any aspects that are relevant to your safety.

Notes on use of the helmet
The SCHUBERTH F 220 firefighter helmet is designed for use in firefighting in
buildings, rescue and salvage activities, for work associated with road accidents
and generally for activities within the scope of a fireman's duties. Use for any
other purpose is to be ruled out and will release SCHUBERTH from any and all
liability. The visor is specifically designed for use with the SCHUBERTH F 220
firefighter helmet and must not be used for any other form of application.
Important! This helmet only gives full protection when sitting optimally on
your head, the headband is properly adjusted to your head circumference and the
chinstrap is closed. Detachable parts may not be worn/used separately.
Only wear the helmet when it is fully assembled.
Important! This helmet is designed to absorb the effect of only one impact.
In the same way as the crumple zone of a car's bodywork, the F 220 absorbs a
strong force acting on it through complete or partial destruction of the helmet
shell and lining structures. The helmet should be replaced after an impact or
significant blow, even if the damage is not immediately visible.
Liability for functioning and damage
Liability for the performance of the SCHUBERTH F 220 fire helmet shall in any
event transfer to the owner or operator if and when the SCHUBERTH F 220 fire
helmet is improperly serviced or repaired by persons not affiliated with
SCHUBERTH GmbH or trained by SCHUBERTH GmbH, or if the helmet is handled in
a manner which does not correspond to the intended use. SCHUBERTH GmbH shall
not be liable for damage occurring as a result of failure to comply with the above
instructions.
