PROBLEM
There is a bad
smell in the
refrigerator.
Frost forms on
the walls of the
freezer.
The water
dispenser is not
functioning.
The freezer door

SOLUTION
• Has a food item spoiled?
• Make sure that strong smelling food (for example, fi sh) is wrapped so that it is
airtight.
• Clean out your freezer periodically and throw away any spoiled food.
When cleaning the inside of the fridge, store food elsewhere and unplug the
appliance. Wipe with a dry dishcloth after 2-3 hours and then circulate air inside the
refrigerator.
• Is the air vent blocked?
Remove any obstructions so air can circulate freely.
• Allow suffi cient space between the stored food for effi cient air circulation.
• Is the freezer door closed properly?
• Is the freezer drawer closed properly?
If the freezer drawer is not completely closed or is blocked, humidity from outside
may enter and cause severe frost to form.
• Is the water line connected and the shut-off valve open?
• Has the water supply line tubing been crushed or kinked?
Make sure the tubing is free and clear of any obstruction.
• Is the water tank frozen because the refrigerator temperature is too low?
Try selecting a warmer setting on the main display panel.
• Check if the fi lter is properly installed. If it is not properly installed, the water
dispenser may not work.
• Push the water lever dispenser and confi rm that it dispenses water.
• Push the ice lever dispenser and confi rm that the auger motor is operating.
• Remove objects on the shelves that might obstruct drive auger or the door.
Precautions : If you have not dispensed water or ice for an extended time, ice clumps
can accumulate in the ice bucket and interfere with the drive auger, preventing the ice
dispenser from dispensing ice.
Remove the remaining ice from the ice bucket to ensure the auger is not being blocked
by ice clumps, and then operate the ice and water dispensers more frequently. This will
improve the auto-closing function of the freezer door.
