• When the lights are not burning it means the bat-
tery is empty and must be charged immediately.
Charging the battery with the charger (Fig. F)
1. Take the battery (20) from the machine.
2. Turn the battery (20) to upside down position and
slide it onto the charger (28) as shown in Fig. F.
3. Push the battery until it is fully pushed into the
slot.
4. Plug the charger plug into an electrical outlet and
wait for a while. The LED indicators on the charger
(28) will lighten up and show the charger status.
The charger has 2 LED indicators (29) which indi­
cate the status of the charging process:

• Fully charging the 2Ah battery may take up to
60 minutes.
• Fully charging the 4Ah battery may take up to
120 minutes.
After the battery is fully charged remove the char-
ger plug from the outlet and remove the battery
from the charger.
When the machine is not being used over a
longer period of time it is best to store the
battery in charged condition.
External dust extraction
The vacuum connection (12A) allows a vacuum clea-
ner to be attached to the machine. Also included is a
vacuum adapter (12B), which allows use of smaller
diameter vacuum pipes.
Replacing the saw blade (Fig. A, B)
When mounting the saw blade, wear
protective gloves. Danger of injury when
touching the saw blade.

For replacing the saw blade, it is best to set the
depth to 0mm and set the bevel angle to 0°.
Afterwards, the machine can be placed on its side,
resting on the motor housing and baseplate.
Removing the saw blade
1. Press and hold the spindle lock (21) button.
2. Loosen the clamping bolt (15) using the hex key
provided, turning in anti-clockwise direction.
3. Remove the clamping bolt (15) and clamping

sure the convex side of the clamping flange is

provided, turning in clockwise direction.
Attaching the parallel guide (Fig. D)
1. Loosen the wing bolt for parallel guide (10).
2. Mount the parallel guide (24) onto the baseplate
(17).
3. Set the desired cutting width using the scale
on the parallel guide (24) and the cutting mark
on the baseplate (17). The 45° cutting mark (8)
indicates the position of the saw blade for 45°
angled cuts. The 0° cutting mark (9) indicates the
position of the saw blade for right-angled cuts.
4. Tighten the wing bolt (10).
Only use saw blades that correspond with
the characteristic data given in the
operating instructions.
Do not under any circumstances use
grinding discs as the cutting tool.
