Make sure that the sanding belt is centered on both drums.
- Push the belt tension lever (10) back into place to apply the belt tension.
9.4 Changing the driving belt (Fig 15 & 16)
- Remove the Phillips screw M5x10 (15) and remove the belt cover (16).
- Loosen the three Phillips screws (18) inside the pulley housing, and then push the housing down to release the
belt tension.
- Remove the old driving belt (17).
- Fit the new drive belt on the drive pulley first then on the motor pulley.
- Push the pulley housing up to increase the belt tension: squeeze the belt with your fingers until there is around
6mm of give.
- Tighten the three Phillips screws (18) securely, and reinstall the belt cover (16) and the screw (15).
- Tighten securely.
CAUTION:
Repair, modification and inspection must be must be carried out by a LEMAN Authorized Service Center.
In the operation and maintenance of power tools, the safety regulations and standards prescribed in each country
must be observed.
Do not dispose of electric tools together with household waste material!
In observance of European Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its
implementation in accordance with national law, electric tools that have reached the end of their life
must be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compatible recycling facility.
