4. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR BELT & DISC SANDER
- Wear ear protectors. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.
- Wear a dust mask. Do not inhale the harmful dusts generated. The dust can endanger the health of yourself and
bystanders.
- Do not use the power tool with a damaged cord. Do not touch the damaged cord and pull the plug from
the outlet when the cord is damaged while working. Damaged cords increase the risk of an electric shock.
Warning: Reduce the working time to avoid risks related with too much vibration. If the supply cord of this power
tool is damaged, it must be replaced by a specially prepared cord available through the service organization.
- Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Do not overreach. Loss of control can cause personal injury.
- Firmly clamp or bolt your tool to a workbench or table.
- Never stand or have any part of your body in line with the path of the workpiece.
- Plan your work to reduce risk of kickback.
- Make sure there is no debris between the workpiece and its supports.
- Use extra caution with large, very small or awkward workpieces.
- Never use this tool to finish pieces too small to hold by hand.
- Use extra supports (saw horse, roller stand, table, etc.) for any workpieces large enough to tip when not
secured to the work surface.
- Never sand more than one piece at a time. Do not stack more than one workpiece on the sander table at a
time.
- Always feed workpiece from left to right, against the direction the drum sleeve is rotating.
- Do not use sanding disc or sanding belt which show visual signs of wear such as grooves, tears or rips.
- Always turn off the tool before disconnecting it to avoid accidental starting when reconnecting to power
supply. Never leave the tool unattended while connected to a power source.
- Make sure there are no loose knots, nails, staples, dirt or foreign objects in the workpiece to be sand.
- Support the workpiece with miter gauge, work rest, or worktable.
- Maintain 2mm clearance between worktable and sanding belt or disc.
- Avoid kickback by sanding in accordance with directional arrows.
- Switch off the power tool immediately when the tool insert jams. Be prepared for high reaction torque that
can cause kickback. The tool insert jams when the power tool is subject to overload or it becomes wedged in the
workpiece.
- Keep the cord away from the working area. The cord may be entangled.
- Always keep your hands away from the rotating sanding parts.
- Sanding lead-based paint is extremely toxic and should not be attempted. Only allow professionals with
special training and equipment perform this task.
- Switch off the machine immediately if unusual vibrations or if other malfunctions occur. Check the
machine in order to find out the cause.
- The dust that arises when working with this tool can be harmful to health. Use a dust absorption system
and wear a suitable dust protection mask and remove deposited dust with a vacuum cleaner.

5. APPLICATIONS

- This machine is intended for sanding wood and wood composition materials, bevel sanding, horizontal and
vertical sanding, and curved pieces sanding.
- Thismachine is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The
user / operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of
this.
6. ASSEMBLY AND INTRODUCTION
CAUTION:
To prevent accidents, make sure to turn the switch off and disconnect to the plug from the power
receptacle.

6.1 Installing the machine

It is recommended to secure the machine to a workbench or other stable surface. When mounting the machine to a
workbench, holes should be drilled through the supporting surface of the workbench.
