If there is an exceptionally high number of bathers,
then we would advise you to increase the filtration
hours to compensate for the chlorine deficit.

.10. CHECKS AND MAINTENANCE

Adding salt :
Check the salt content. If the concentration is less
than 4h/l, add salt by making the following
calculation :
Q = (4 - T) x V
Q : quantity of salt to be added in kg
4 : salt content to be respected in Kg/m3
T : measured salt content in the pool
V : volume of the pool in m3.
Always stop the device before adding salt directly to
the pool. Wait for the salt to dissolve before turning
the device on again.
Winter months :
If the filtration of the pool is maintained during the
winter months, we recommend turning the device off
when the temperature falls below 15°C.
Encrusted electrode :
The electrode must have a clean appearance
without limescale encrustations. If need be, de-scale
the electrode by placing it in a solution containing
80% water and 20% chlorhydric acid.
Then check the reasons for the encrustation :
- too low salt content
- production set too low
- electrode worn out
- box reversal fault
- wrong setting of the polarity reversal time.
Cleaning the filter, draining the pool :
Stop the device during any handling of the filter
valve : cleaning, rinsing, draining, etc., except when
there is a flow switch
Flow switch error :
If there is a lack of flow then the device will flash and
indicate 99.
Signalling of faults :
If there is a problem with current, voltage or
temperature, then the device will no longer indicate
anything. Only the "standby" indicator will remain lit.
The device will restart automatically.
Compatibility :
The sterilizer produced by your salt chlorinator is
compatible
with
treatment products, with the exception of PHMB
polymers. In all cases, stop the device while you add
products and until they have been completely
dissolved.

.11. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE
ELECTRODE
The working life of the electrode will depend
upon the following factors:
- Salt content :
never operate the salt chlorinator with a salt content
of below 3.2 g/l.
- Water temperature and hibernation :
turn off as soon as the water temperature drops
below 15 °C.
If filtration continues during the cold period, then
remove the electrode from the chamber and replace
it with the stopper provided for this purpose.
- Settings :
never leave the machine in the maximum production
position, except in the event of a chlorine deficit.
An "economical" setting would be around 75% of the
value of the maximum current indicated on the stick-
er affixed to the side.
- Inversion of polarities :
your machine is adjustable (see chapter 7).
The working life of the electrode will depend upon
the number of inversions to which it is subjected. It
will wear out slower by inversing the polarities every
six hours, and faster by inversing them every two
hours.
.12. GUARANTEE
This chlorinator unit is guaranteed by the
manufacturer against manufacturing faults for a
period of two years counting from the delivery date.
Electrode : guaranteed two years.
This guarantee does not cover breakdowns caused
by negligence, improper use, improper installation,
modification, disassembly, corrosion, failure to
undertake maintenance or hibernation, misuse,
flooding, lightning strike or damage following a fall or
a blow.
Postage must be paid on all equipment returned for
upgrade or repair.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the
shape, design or appearance of its products without
water
prior notice.
