1. Use the large or the small filter holder retainer as requested.

CLEANING

Old coffee remaining in the unit may lead to oxidation. This affects
the result of the preparation; unpleasant and unpalatable taste may
develop. The unit should always be in a well-kept condition in order
to ensure perfect Espresso at all times.
Depending on use, clean the unit at least once a week.
Before cleaning, remove the power plug.
Use a soft and moist cloth to clean the outer surfaces of the unit.
