ATTENTION!
❐ Prior to each cleaning, pull the plug out of the socket.
❐ The device may still be very hot shortly after use. For this reason, wait a few minutes until
it has cooled off completely before you remove the used adapter, clean the device and / or
store it.
❐ Never submerge the device in water or other liquids!
❐ Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
❐ Do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads to clean the device. They
could damage the surface.
❐ Decalcify the device regularly if you do not use any distilled water to fi ll the water tank.
• If you have not already done so, open the water tank by pulling the water tank cap out of the
device and turning the device upside down. Please note that the cap cannot be completely
removed from the device.
• When needed, wipe off the device housing with a soft, damp cloth and dry it with a soft cloth.
• When needed, clean the textile brush adapter with a soft, damp cloth and dry it with a soft
cloth. To clean the cushions, use the enclosed cleaning brush.
• When needed, clean the crease adapter with clear, warm water. Dry it with a soft cloth.
• To decalcify the device, use a commercially available decalcifying agent. Make sure that the
agent is suitable for steam irons. About the mixing ratio of water and agent and about the
duration of use, please follow the instructions of the decalcifying agent.
• Let all parts of the device and accessories dry completely before you store the device in a
clean, dry area that is not accessible to children and animals.
