Start-up

Before you can use the device, you must fi rst attach the adapter of your choice and add water
to the water tank.
The device can be used with tap water as well as distilled water. Regarding this, please
also note the instructions in the section "Adding / removing water".

Mounting / removing the adapters

ATTENTION!
❐ Always pull the plug before you remove / change an adapter. In the process, never pull on the
cable, but always on the plug.
❐ The used adapter may be very hot for a short time after use. For this reason, wait a few
minutes until it has cooled off completely before you remove it.
Textile brush adapter
The textile brush adapter is suitable for ironing fabrics such as linen, wool, cotton,
polyester and silk and for removing lint.
Crease adapter
With this adapter, you can iron creases (e. g. into trousers and skirts).
1. To mount the textile brush adapter, insert the catch on the
bottom of the adapter into the corresponding opening on the
front of the device and fold down the adapter. It must audibly
lock into place.
2. To remove the textile brush adapter, pull back the unlocking
slide on the adapter, hold it fi rmly and take off the adapter.
1. To mount the crease adapter, place it on the heat plate
in a level position as shown and push the catches on the
adapter into the corresponding openings on the device.
The adapter must audibly lock into place.
2. To remove the crease adapter, push the release button
on the adapter, hold it fi rmly and pull the adapter off of
the device.
