Preparations for
Using the
Networking
Function
You can connect this device to the network
with the LAN cable (10BASE-T/
100BASE-TX).
This section describes the tasks that are
required for using the networking function
of this device.

Installing this device

Before installation
• Before installation, make sure that the
power to all the equipment is off. To turn
the display completely off, press the 1
switch so that the display changes to
standby mode, then disconnect the power
cable from the wall outlet.
• When you install this device, make sure
that the flat panel display is locked and
stable.
Follow the steps below to install this device
to the FWD-50PX1/50PX1N Flat Panel
Display.

Remove the already installed option
adaptor (for FWD-50PX1) or the
panel cover (for FWD-50PX1N).

Preparations for Using the Networking Function

FWD-50PX1: Loosen the two screws
located on the top and bottom of the
option adaptor. Use a slot screwdriver
to turn the screws counterclockwise,
and then remove the option adaptor
carefully.
When the option slot is located
on the right side*
