2. A sensor built into the appliance detects the ambient temperature
which is displayed on the screens of the transmitter and the receiver
simultaneously.
The sensor functions normally when the temperatures are between
0 ºC and +45 ºC. If higher or lower temperatures are recorded the
symbol appears on the screen.
the appliance's electronic circuit from affecting the sensor it is
recommended to move the latter from its location by an angle of about
15° as shown opposite. In case of a sudden change of temperature
(e.g.: the appliance is taken from indoors to outdoors in the depth of
winter) the sensor may need a few minutes before it adapts to the new
environment and displays the right temperature.

orienting the microphone 6 towards it.

the transmission icon appears
and the transmission icon disappears

5. The state of the batteries is indicated by the charge status indicator
. As the batteries' charge goes down the bars filling the indicator

charge status indicator also appears on the screen of the receiver, so

its battery has run down, or its power is cut off, or the channel/digital code

reading, otherwise the temperature alarm can often be heard
whenever the baby's room temperature changes slightly.
8. Position the receiver at a reasonable distance from the transmitter
to prevent feedback. If it is too close a strident sound in the
loudspeaker 14 may result.
9. When the receiver receives a signal the screen comes on and the
sound level indicator's LEDs light up. The higher the sound level of the
child's voice, the larger the number of illuminated LEDs. This function
is useful when the parents prefer to switch the loudspeaker 14 off to
stay in peace.
10. The volume of the loudspeaker 14 can be controlled with the
buttons 11 12 ▲▼. On the screen the number of bars indicating the

. The vibrator starts to function when the child's sound level
reaches a certain intensity. This function is useful when the parents
are in a very noisy environment (e.g.: noise of vacuum-cleaners). To
save energy it is recommended not to use the vibrator function too
often.
12. The state of the lithium battery is indicated by the charge status
