HOOD INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTION
Only the specialist has the right to install and
connect the hood to the mains.
You can not start the installation of the hood and
remove the protective film from the stainless steel
hood until you are convinced of the technical
condition of the hood by connecting it to the
electrical network and checking all its functions.
To do this, open the package, remove the hood
and place it on a flat surface in such a way that
switch of operating modes is turned towards the
inspector. The hood is then connected to the
mains and being tested.
If it is working properly at all modes, then you
should start installing the hood. If not, contact the
organization where you purchased the hood or the
warranty workshop. Protective film from stainless
steel hoods should only be removed after the hood
has been installed.
We remind you that the height of the hood
above the electric stove should be at least 65
cm, and above the gas stove less than 75 cm.
It is recommended to install this hood together
with one more person.
Before installing the hood, make sure that the wall
on which the hood is hung is competent enough.
To hang the hood and the bracket for securing the
decorative duct, use screws and dowels, which
suit the type of walls in your kitchen (reinforced
concrete, plasterboard, etc). If the screws and
dowels are included in the kit, you should make
sure that they are suitable for the type of wall on
which the hood will be hung.
Install the hood in the following sequence:
1.
Attach the mounting template (if it is included)
to the wall at the correct height, taking into
account the minimum distance from the hob
and level it. Make the points (A, B) on the wall
and drill 8 mm holes in them. Mark and drill
holes with a diameter of 6 mm for mounting

the decorative panel of the decorative duct (C,
D) (Fig. 9).
2. Install dowels Ø 8 mm into the holes (A, B), and
dowels Ø 6 mm into the holes (C, D)
3. Screw the two screws into the two holes (A, B)
so that the distance between the wall and the
screw head is 5 mm. Install the lashing of the
decorative duct by screwing the screws into
the two upper holes (C, D).
4. Install the plastic adapter flange (if it is not
installed) to the appropriate place on top of the
hood using two screws.
5. Hang the hood on the screws (A, B), level it
on the horizon and tighten the screws with a
screwdriver.
If your hood will work in the exhaust air mode
to the ventilation shaft, put one end of the
flexible duct (not supplied) onto the adapter
flange. Place the adapter flange with the air
duct with a sealant, and fasten the air duct to
the adapter flange using a clamp (not included
in the package) (Fig. 12). Connect the other
end of the flexible duct to the vent.
Avoid unnecessary bends of air and water. The
shorter and more direct (without unnecessary
bends) duct, the higher the output and the less
noise and vibration in the hood.
6. If your hood works in recirculation mode,
carbon filters must be installed on the motor
duct (not included in the package) (Fig. 7).
In this mode, the installation of a duct on the
hood is not required.
7.
Before installing the decorative ducts of the air
duct, output the wire to connect the hood to
the mains.
8. Install the decorative duct on the hood
housing, the mounting plate and secure it with
screws (Figure 11).
