A copy of the statement of conformity in the original
language is attached to this instructions booklet.
In compliance with the European Committee's regulation
No. 2000/299/EC of 06/04/2000, the frequency range
used by this product is harmonised in all EU Countries.
This is therefore a class 1 product, which can be freely
used in all European Community Countries.
Customers intending to use this product in countries
not forming part of the European Community or in non-
European Countries must check the conformity of the
equipment with the standards in force in the country of
use.

The crossed bin symbol shown on the equip-
ment indicates that, at the end of its use-
ful life-cycle, the product must be treated
separately from domestic waste, and disposed of at an
appropriate differentiated collection point for electri-
cal or electronic equipment, or delivered to the retailer
at the time of purchase of new, equivalent equipment.
The user is responsible for disposing of, or delivering, the
worn or damaged equipment to the appropriate collec-
tion points. The appropriate differentiated collection
and subsequent recycling or treatment of the equipment
disposed of, in compliance with environmental norms,
helps to avoid possible negative effects on health and on
the environment, and favours the recycling of the mate-

The crossed bin symbol on the batteries indi-
cates that, at the end of their life, they must
be disposed of separately from domestic
waste, either by taking them to a separate waste dispos-
al site for batteries or by returning them to your dealer
when you buy similar rechargeable or non-rechargeable
batteries. The chemical symbols Hg, Cd, Pb, printed under
the crossed bin symbol, indicate the type of substance
contained in the batteries: Hg=Mercury, Cd=Cadmium,
Pb=Led. The user is responsible for taking the batteries
to a special waste disposal site at the end of their life,
so that they can be treated and recycled. If the spent
batteries are collected correctly as separate waste, they
can be recycled, treated and disposed of ecologically; this
avoids a negative impact on both the environment and
human health, and contributes towards the recycling
of the batteries' substances. Non-compliance with the
norms on battery disposal damages the environment
and human health. For further information regarding
the waste disposal services available, contact your local
waste disposal agency or the shop where you bought the
batteries.
