5.8.3 Install the Twin-Leg SRDs: To install the SRD housings onto the FBH, follow the procedure detailed in Figure 10.

1. Prepare Twin-Leg SRD for Attachment
A. Open the Alignment Clip from the reverse side by
pushing on the top clips to release.
B. Rotate the clip downward.
C. Rotate the clip to one side and remove one SRD.
D. Allow the gate to close.

3. Reinstall the 2nd SRD
H. Rotate the Carabiner and Alignment Clip a 1/4 turn while keeping the slack in the web loops. The gate
will be positioned below the loops.
I. Rotate the SRD and Alignment Clip away from the gate.
J. Open the Carabiner Gate and install the 2nd SRD by inserting the nose of the Carabiner through the
swivel eye. Ensure the gate closes.
K. Reposition the Alignment Clip onto the gate.

2. Prepare FBH and Preliminary Attachment
E. Lift the Dorsal D-ring so that it points upward and loosen the two web straps that
pass through the D-ring to create two loops about 2"-3" in diameter.
F. With only one SRD still connected to the carabiner, open the gate and insert the
nose of the carabiner into the two loops.
G. Allow the gate to close with the Alignment Clip remaining on the gate of the
carabiner.

4. Closing and Securing
L. Rotate the Alignment Clip upward, tightly pinch the two
web loops together and position the loops between the ears
of the Alignment Clip. Snap the ears of the Alignment Clip
back onto the carabiner.
M. Remove the slacked loops by pulling the web up through
the D-ring. Ensure the gate is closed and the Alignment Clip
is securely snapped onto the carabiner.
