FITTING
Any permanent electrical installation must comply with the latest regulations concerning this type of instal-
lation and a qualified electrician must carry out the work. Non-compliance could cause serious accidents
or injury and would deem the manufacturers guarantee null and void.
IMPORTANT - The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code :
green / yellow : earth
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows.

The wire which is coloured green and yellow must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol

The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N
or coloured black.
-
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter
L or coloured red.
ATTENTION: Do not forget to use adequate plugs to the support brackets. Enquire after the manu-
facturers. Do an embedding if necessary. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility in case of a
faulty hanging due to the drilling and the setting up of plugs.
1) To carry out 2 cuttings on the worktop as shown in (Fig. 1).
2) To carry out through the back of the cabinet 2 cuttings for the passage of left and right hand ducts as
shown in (Fig. 2).
3) To carry out through the bottom of the cabinet a cutting diameter 160 mm as shown in (Fig. 3).
4) To fit the brackets on the motor housing (Fig. 4).
Caution to the orientation of the bracket in accordance with the cabinet height 690 or 830 mm.
5) To carry out the pre-drilled hole for the motor brackets onto the bottom of the cabinet according to (Fig. 3).
6) To carry out a cutting throuth the plinth for fitting a grid (Recirculation) as shown in (Fig. 5).
7) Carry out through the back of the cabinet a hole diameter 60 mm for the passage of the plug accord-
ing to (Fig. 6).
8) Loosen and remove the flanges of the hood (Fig. 7), and then fit the hood to the worktop (Fig. 8).
Replace the flanges to maintain the hood in postion (Fig. 8)
9) To connect the side ducts on the hood and secure the connections with appropriate clamping or
adhesive tape (Fig. 9).
10) to adjust the length of the pipe diameter 154 mm in accordance with the height of the cabinet and
connect it to the motor outlet, to connect the side ducts on the motor inlets and secure the connec-
tions with appropriate clamping or adhesive tape according to (Fig. 11 & 12). Then to fit the motor
onto the bottom of the cabinet using the screws provided.
11) To connect the hood and the motor according to (Fig. 13 & 14).
12) To make the electrical connection as described in the section titled ELECTRICAL. When the electrical
connection has been made, test the lights and the fan motor.
13) Ducting:
The hood is more effective when used in the extraction mode (ducted to the outside). When the cooker
hood is ducted to the outside, charcoal filters are not required.The ducting used must be 150 mm (6
INS), rigid circular pipe and must be manufactured from fire retardant material, produced to BS.476
or DIN 4102-B1. Wherever possible use rigid circular pipe which has a smooth interior, rather than
the expanding concertina type ducting.

brown : live
or coloured green or green and yellow.
