3.5.5 Fitting instructions

The product must be filled with water before the power is switched on.
Any overflow pipe from the safety valve MUST be >

undamaged and frost-free sloping downwards to the drain/gully.
The product should be placed in a room with drain to avoid any material damage in case
!
of leakage. Liability for consequential damage will only apply if this is followed.
The product should be properly aligned vertically and horizontally, on a floor suitable for
!
the total weight of the product when in operation. See 2.4.
The product must have a clearance for servicing of minimum 40 cm in front of the junc-
!
tion box cover and sufficient space for servicing above the top.

3.5.6 Installation recommendation

Mains power cable (4) should be hidden under the channels in the bottom of the product.

If a non-return valve is fitted, a reduction valve and expansion vessel should be fitted to

prevent dripping from the T&P valve.
If the maximum water pressure exceeds 6 bar in a 24-hour period, a pressure reduction valve

and expansion vessel should be fitted.
For installation in a room without drain a watertight drip tray with overflow pipe > 18 mm.
