IV. Hydraulic connections
Two screw type unions can be found on one side of the heat pump, these allow entry and exit of the pool water
(marked). The water inlet and outlet pipes should be glued to these unions.
These unions should be connected to a filtration by-pass loop, equipped with two isolating valves (one on the
inlet and one on the outlet) to allow isolation of the machine should it need to be removed. A third valve should
be installed on the main line between the by-pass tapping points to allow regulation of the flow rate (refer to
paragraph VII.4).
