5.1
Notes on safety for the first start-up
The first start-up of the burner must be carried out
by qualified personnel, as indicated in this manual
and in compliance with the standards and regula-
tions of the laws in force.
WARNING
5.2
Adjustment of the pressure stabiliser
To adjust the stabiliser, proceed as follows:
 undo screw 2)(Fig. 6) and connect a pressure gauge
 calibrate the stabiliser to the nominal value using the adjust-
ment screw 5) with a 2 mm hexagonal wrench:
to increase the output pressure, turn the screw clockwise
to reduce it, turn the screw in a counterclockwise direction
 Tighten up screw 2) again at the end of the operation.
Once the adjustment is completed it is necessary
to carry out the leak detection control and make
sure it is working.
WARNING
5.3
Valve adjustment
The slow ignition output (valve opening phase) must be adjust-
ed by turning screw 3), using a 2 mm hexagonal wrench:
to increase the output, turn the screw in a counterclockwise
direction
to reduce it, turn the screw in a clockwise direction
You can adjust the starting gas quantity up to 80% than the main
output.
Wait at least forty-five seconds before starting up again.
The main output is reached progressively, starting from the igni-
tion output.
Turn screw 4) to adjust.
to increase the output, turn the screw in a counterclockwise
direction
to reduce it, turn the screw in a clockwise direction
Once the adjustment is completed it is necessary
to carry out the leak detection control and make
sure it is working.
WARNING
5.4
Low gas pressure switch adjustment
Calibrate the gas pressure switch using the graduated scale
knob, after carrying out all the other adjustments of the burner
with the pressure switch adjusted at the beginning of the scale.
Let the burner work at the required output.
Close slowly the gate valve until the pressure, measured on the
pressure switch gauge, comes down of 5 - 6 mbar with regard to
the operation value.
Rotate slowly the pressure switch handle until the operation of
the same pressure switch and the resultant burner shutdown.
Open the gate valve completely.
