OPERATION

Select input source

When the INPUT SELECTOR is rotated, the input source changes as follows:
When rotated clockwise

LINE 1 (default setting)
When rotated counterclockwise

LINE 1 (default setting)
Note
When power is switched from Standby to ON, the input source automatically switches to the last one used before power

was previously set to Standby.
When the power plug is disconnected and reconnected, the input source reverts to LINE 1 (default setting).

Adjust sound volume

Rotate the VOLUME dial to adjust the sound volume. Rotate clockwise to increase sound volume, and counterclockwise to
reduce sound volume. Press the SELECT (+/−) button to engage the volume control mode.

Sets volume control to FINE mode. In this mode, the volume can be adjusted in units of 0.5 step.
− button

Sets volume control to NORMAL mode. In this mode, the volume can be adjusted in units of 1.0 step.

Changing settings

Press the MENU button to change the unit's setting items. Settings 1 to 4 can be selected by pressing the MENU button the
respective number of times. To make a setting, press the SELECT (+/−) button to choose a setting, the press the EXIT button
to confirm the selection.

LCD volume display
Selects whether the LCD display's sound volume as a LEVEL meter display (default setting) or dB (input-output ratio)
display.

L-R balance setting
Press the + button to lower the L channel level and shift the sound localization toward the R channel. Press the –
button to lower the R channel level and shift the sound localization toward the L channel. Default value is both L/R
channels set to "0".

Input level setting
This unit allows individual input level settings to be made for different source components, to compensate for
differences in sound volume between high-volume components and low-volume components. Input levels can be set
between 0 dB and +20 dB.

Auto power-down mode
This setting allows the unit to automatically switch to Standby when not in use. Press the + button to set the mode to
ON, and the – button to set the mode to OFF. When set to ON, the unit will switch to Standby if no volume adjustment
or key input is made for 3 hours.
Factory default (220 V to 240 V model for Asia/Europe): ON
If no control activity occurs for 3 hours, the power switches automatically to Standby, even if the unit is currently
playing.
Factory default (120 V model for U.S.A.): OFF

ALL RESET
To reset all settings to factory defaults, place the unit in Standby mode, then press the MENU button for 5 seconds
while holding the MUTE button depressed. The Auto power-down mode turns OFF.
