5. To connect the rear foglamps near the left rear light: see sketch 2 & 3.

6. In the left rear, in the C-pillar, there is an original wiring harness (see sketch 3).
In this harness there are several grey wires.
Search these grey wires for the rear foglamp signal using a testlight.
Cut this foglamp wire and connect it according sketch 2.
Put the 3-pole relay in the socket with the blue, red and yellow wires (see sketch 4).
7. Put the 8-pole connector (with the brown, red, en black wires) into module 5C002.
Mount this module to the left rear side using the double sided tape.
8. Put the other 8-pole connector (with the green, yellow, and purple wires) into module 5C009.
Mount this module to the left rear side using the double sided tape.
9. Lead the brown/white wire from the battery through the left side of the interior to the socket.
Insert the terminal of the brown/white wire into the supplied 3-pole connector
(The same position as the brown/white wire in the 3-pole connector of the harness).
Connect the 3-pole connectors.
Careful for sharp parts! Fit the eyelett to the + pole. Fit the fuse and cover to the fuseholder after
the socket has been connected.
10. Mount the socket to the towbar.
Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall disassembled parts.
