2.2 - FOOD STORAGE
Before storing any foods in your freezer, you must take the following precautions:
1 - Clean the inside walls with a wet cloth, in order to remove the dust that may be gathered inside.
2 - Only now you should turn on your freezer. Connect the plug and wait until the appliance start working.
3 - Leave your freezer running empty about 4 hours.
4 - Wrap the foods you want to freeze or put them in well closed plastic bags or boxes.
5 - Having taken this 4 fundamental precautions, place the foods in your freezer, preferably near to the freezer walls and
under the load level impressed in the interior wall.
3 - MAINTENANCE
Before any maintenance operation, disconnect the plug from the mains supply.
1 - Always that you want to clean the inside freezer, at the bottom left hand front of your freezer is the drain stopper, you need
to pull stopper out and turn arrow downward to drain.
2 - Remove the ice that grows on the freezer walls - with the appropriate spade that is supplied with the freezer walls. You
should never let the ice grow more than 5 mm thick.
Please Note!
When you need to remove ice from the rear wall of model CEP. use the manual defrosting system that is fitted.
For the purpose, press the button
use the scraper to remove the accumulated ice.
Warning! This option is available only on the TOPO, VCI - D and VLC - D model.
3 If you wish to replace any lightening components, remove the acrylic covering over the lightbulb being replaced. Turn the
lightbulb by a 90 angle and pull it downwards until it becomes loose. Always verify that you replace it with a 13W lightbulb.

4 For maintenance of the refrigerator group or the electrical equipment remove the back grid and open the drawer so
access to all components is easy.
4.1 Condenser blades should be cleaned at time intervals that should be established by yourself according to equipment
installation location cleanliness.
A non-metallic brush or low pressure air should be used for this cleaning operation. Air suction occurring at the
condenser blades results in dust deposition, which can cause serious malfunction and/or loss of equipment efficiency.
WARNING!
If you intend to clean the exterior of the appliance, this should never be done directly with water. The
presence of water or moisture on the electric circuit may seriously damage your appliance.
VERY IMPORTANT!
When cleaning the floor, take care not to spill water on the appliance. Failure to observe this rule
may cause serious faults.
In closing, we would like to leave a word of advice. Never switch the freezer off when it contains products the factory-
programmed electronic controller ensures that the products are kept in good condition, as economically as possible.

En el momento de instalar su nuevo congelador, usted debe tener en cuenta las seguintes precauciones:
1 - El suelo debera ser absolutamiente llano, para que los quatro piés se apoyen a la perfección.
2 -
El congelador deve ser posicionado de manera a assegurar el acesso facil e rapido a la enchufe.
3 - Es condición fundamental para el buen funcionamiento del aparato que este sea instalado en un local con buena circulación
d'aire y fuera de la incidencia de los rayos solares o de qualquier fuente de calor. La distancia del aparato a las paredes o
muebles mas proximos debe ser de 15 cm, como minimo.
4 - El congelador que acaba de comprar debe, en parte, su bueno funcionamiento a la ventilación forzada con que se halla
equipado. Sin embargo, la existencia de elementos que eventualmiente puedan obstruir la circulación del aire - através de la
rejilla trasera - podria comprometer la normal eficácia de su congelador.
5 - La conexión al enchufe de corriente elétrica solo deberá hacerse si:
- La tension instalada en su casa sea la misma que la indicada en la placa de características.
- El enchufe de su instalación se halle conectada a la tierra.
