rations if the equipment is used over a pro-
longed period or is not properly guided and
maintained.

5. Before starting the equipment

Danger!
Be sure to read the following information before
you put the cordless screwdriver into operation:
1. Charge the battery only with the charging unit
supplied.
2. Only ever use screwdriver bits which are
suitable for the purpose and in faultless con-
dition.
3. Before you begin to screw in walls and ma-
sonry, check for concealed electric wiring,
gas pipes and water pipes.
6. Operation
6.1 Charging the battery (Fig. 2)
The battery is protected from exhaustive dischar-
ge. An integrated protective circuit automatically
switches off the equipment when the battery is
fl at. In this case the bit chuck will cease to turn.
Important! Do not actuate the On/Off switch any
more if the protective circuit has tripped. This may
damage the battery.
Check that your mains voltage is the same as
that marked on the rating plate. Connect the type
A USB connector (8a) of the charging cable (8)
to the charger (7). Plug the battery charger in the
plug socket and connect the type B USB connec-
tor (8b) of the charging cable (8) to the charging
connection (6) of the cordless screwdriver.
The charging indicator light (5) will light up red to
indicate that the battery pack is being charged.
When charging is fi nished, the charging indicator
light changes to green.
Notice! The handle may become a little warm du-
ring the charging process. This is normal.
If the battery fails to charge, please check
whether there is voltage at the socket outlet
whether there is good contact at the charging
