Safety instructions
ATTENTION:

The basic safety precautions when using electrical
equipment are outlined below. These are essential to reduce
the risks of electric shocks, injuries and fire hazards. Please
read all instructions carefully and follow them, and the
advice given, before installing and using your air cleaner.
General
The manufacturer rejects any liability for damages or injuries resulting
from any disregard of these safety instructions and advice and from
negligence during installation, use, maintenance and repair of the
product listed on the cover of this document and of any associated
accessories.
Modification of (parts of) the air cleaner is not allowed. As a
consequence, the guarantee will become due and the (fire) safety with
regard to the technical specifications will no longer be guaranteed.
The product user is responsible at all times for strict adherence to local
safety instructions and guidelines.
Protect the air cleaner from water and humidity.

Please observe the safety instructions for the (optional) UV-
lights, as given in the manufacturer's leaflet enclosed with
UV-C
your unit.
Do not use the air cleaner at ambient temperatures above 35°C.
Mounting/installation
Please adhere to the installation instructions carefully.
Disconnect the mains prior to installing the air cleaner.
Use the materials prescribed during the installation. Connect the air
cleaner to the mains only after complete installation.
The air cleaner should only be connected to the mains voltage and
frequency as indicated. Please ensure that the local mains is identical
to the properties of the mains indicated on the identification tag inside
the air cleaner and use the plug in conformance with the local
instructions.

Make sure the mains plug remains accessible at all time.
Do not allow any under-aged in the proximity during the installation. Do
not allow any other persons to touch the electrical unit or the flex. All
persons should be kept away from the working area.
Please avoid any unnatural posture during the mounting of the unit.
Ensure a stable and safe position is maintained during installation.
Use common sense, stay vigilant and pay attention to your actions
during installation. Do not mount the unit when tired or affected by
drugs, alcohol or medicines.

Do not close off all exhausts simultaneously as this may result in the
motor/fan overheating.

Fire hazard!
Never use the air cleaner in areas with inflammable gasses.
Never use the air cleaner to extract and/or filter
inflammable, smouldering or burning particles or fluids.
Never use the air cleaner to extract and/or filter toxic fumes
or abrasive particles.
Do not pull the flex to remove the plug from the mains. Protect the flex
against heat, oil and sharp objects.
For safety reasons, use only parts and accessories as indicated in the
manual and/or recommended by tool manufacturers. Injuries may result
when other tools or accessories are used than recommended in the
manual or catalogue.
The product is designed solely for cleaning air indoors and must not be
used for any other purpose. The user is liable for damages resulting
from injudicious use.
The air cleaner should be used exclusively in a technically mint
condition. Do not use the air cleaner when parts and safety devices are
faulty, absent or damaged.
The FreeBreeze fragrance cartridges shall be kept out of children's
reach.
Avoid contact and/or inhalation of the fragrance by people with allergies
to aromatic substances.
Maintenance
Maintain your air cleaner carefully and regularly. If poorly maintained, it
can be a fire hazard. Always disconnect the unit from the mains during
maintenance and cleaning of the air cleaner.
Adhere to the maintenance instructions and advice on filter
replacement.
Replace the filters on time.
Only the distributor or suitably authorised staff is allowed to repair and/
or remove safety features during maintenance.
Only use manufacturer's original replacement parts.
The use of different parts may nullify the guarantee.
Inspect and check the product for damages regularly.
The safety features should be checked regularly for their proper
functioning and, if required, be repaired immediately by the distributor
or an authorised person.
The flex should be checked regularly and, if damaged, replaced by the
distributor or suitably authorised staff.
