Assembly and Handling
• Assembling the components
For transport some of the rotary snowplough components
are packed separately.
The screws, finger screws, cable clips and a screwdriver
are packed in a separate plastic bag.
Assembly is simple if you observe the following instruc-
tions.
1. Ejection channel
Remove the machine and all separate components from
the carton. Remove all 4 screws on the front deck and
remove the front cover (fig. 2). Now place the ejection
channel into the front opening of the deck. After that fix
the front cover back on the deck using the 4 screws and
tighten them in order to ensure that the ejection channel
is in a secure position and can swing around 180°.
2. Handle lower part (fig. 3)
Insert the handle lower part into both openings in the
deck (fig. 3-1). Take care that both locking pins (fig. 3-2)
at the lower end of the lower handle component click into
place in the deck.
3. Handle upper part (fig. 4)
Put the cable extension relief into the handle upper part
(fig. 4-1). Then put handle upper part onto the lower one
(fig. 4-2). Position the screws (fig. 4-3) and finger screws
(fig. 4-4) and fasten them tightly.
4. Cable clip (fig. 5)
Position the two cable clips onto the handle to fix the ca-
ble.
5. Operating bar (fig. 6 and 7)
Put the operating bar through the hanger on the lower
handle (fig. 6). Then put the end of the operating bar into
the universal coupling (fig. 7-1) at he bottom of ejection
channel. Ensure that all screws are fastened tightly (fig.
7-2).
6. Plastic stick (fig. 8)
Position the fixed block on to the lower handle compo-
nent, then fix the plastic stick onto it. The Plastic stick
serves principally to free clumped and jammed ice pieces
from the ejection channel. Please switch off the snow-
plough first and isolate from the power supply, before you
begin to free the machine from jammed material.
Danger of amputation and crushing can other-
wise result!
• Switching and starting
Position the 2-point safety switch onto the handle upper
component in the notch using the two screws provided if
this has not been fitted to the handle at manufacture (fig.
10). To ensure that the machine does not start up unex-
pectedly, the 2-point switch is fitted with a safety pressure
switch (fig. 9-A). This must be pressed before the switch
lever (fig. 9-B) can be moved. When the switch lever is
released, the safety pressure switch springs back to its
original position and the motor switches off immediately.
Ensure that the extension cable is not within reach of the
snow blade and that it is connected correctly to the switch
(fig. 9).

Maintenance and Storage

• For prevention of injury, before all maintenance work:
- Switch off motor.
- Wait until all moving parts are stationary.
- Isolate by pulling out the power supply plug.
- Allow the motor to cool off (about 30 minutes).
• For prevention of injury before all cleaning work:
- Switch off motor.
- Wait until all moving parts are stationary.
- Isolate by pulling out the power supply plug.
- Allow the motor to cool off (about 30 minutes).
• Do not hose down the machine as this could damage
electrical components.
• When the machine remains unused for longer than
one month, e.g. after the end of the season:
- Clean machine.
- Protect from rusting of metal parts by wiping them
with an oily rag or spraying with oil.
- Store the machine in a clean and dry room.
Environment, Recycling and Disposal
Packaging and products should be properly
disposed of by being brought to the responsible
disposal facility. Carton packaging and electric
equipment can be taken to a corresponding re-
cycling materials receiving depot or be conven-
iently disposed of through the manufacturer,
for instance. With your cooperation, we can
contribute to protect our environment by recir-
culating recycled materials into the production
cycle. Please note: Do not dispose of this prod-
uct into the dustbin. Synthetic parts are suitably
labelled for plastics recycling.
