7. Cleaning and care

7.1 Important information about cleaning

EN
> Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning agents
containing chlorine or acid.
> Only use cleaning agents and equipment intended for this area
of application.
> Follow the instructions of the cleaning agent manufacturer.
> Never mix cleaning agents.
> Use a mild soap solution for daily cleaning.
> Carry out the cleaning as required with the recommended
quantity of cleaning agent and reaction time for the specific
object.
> Never spray the cleaning agent directly on the product. The
spray can get into the product and damage it from the inside
out.
> Always start with the mildest cleaning agent.
> Do not store any cleaning agents below the products (e.g. vanity
unit) because the vapours can cause damage to the product.
> Clean regularly and remove dirt immediately. Recent soiling is
much easier to remove from the surface than when it is dried
in. Visible dirt, such as limescale and soap stains, cosmetic
residues, rust and mould, occurs if the cleaning intervals are too
long or the cleaning is not carried out regularly enough. This
can lead to soiling that is more difficult to remove.
> Remove chemicals immediately, such as nail polish remover,
perfume, hair dye and tint, solvent-based liquids and acetone.

7.2 Recommended cleaning agents

• Mild citric acid-based cleaner
> Do NOT use any aggressive cleaning agents containing,
for example, salts, phosphorus, bleaching agents (chlorine),
brightening agents, acetic or sulphuric acid.
> Do NOT use any cleaning agents containing abrasive additives,
such as sand, quartz or scouring powder.
