Operation
• AC Power switch
You can choose the following operating conditions
with the switch:
-
ON:
Set the switch to "ON", if you want to operate
the appliance or want to charge the battery. The
control lamp POWER lights up.
D epending on the existing battery capacity, the
control lamp goes on.
After the battery is fully charged, the
trol light goes off.
-
OFF:
Set the switch to "OFF" to end operation of
the appliance and to avoid continuous battery
discharge as it occurs in standby.
NOTE:
After approx. 30 minutes without signal, or if the sig-
nal is too weak, the appliance automatically switches
to standby. If you were operating the appliance with
the power cable before, the battery will continue
charging. In order to use the device again, push the
standby button.
When you are done using the appliance, set the
switch to the "OFF" position, as otherwise the appli-
ance will continue to use the battery.

General operation

1. Turn on the appliance as already explained above.
2. Push the STANDBY button to turn the appliance on
or off.
Due to technical reasons, the standby status is not
displayed.
3. Repeatedly push the SOURCE button (11) to select
the desired operating mode (source): Bluetooth->
FM -> AUX 1 -> AUX 2).
4. Adjust the desired volume using the VOL-regulator.
5. After usage, switch off the appliance by turning the
power switch (19) to the "OFF" position. If you do
not intend to use the appliance for a longer period
of time, unplug the power cable.
NOTE:
The appliance is turned off completely when the
power switch (19) is set to "OFF". (Removing the
power cable is not sufficient).
Microphone operation
You can add the microphone for a karaoke function in
any operating mode.
Using the microphone
NOTE:
In order to avoid acoustic "build up", turn both regu-
lators (MIC VOL and MIC ECHO) counter-clockwise all
way to the left. Then insert the microphone cable into
the socket.

1. Connect the microphone with the MIC IN socket (16).
2. Then switch on the appliance and select the desired
source (BT, FM, AUX 1, AUX 2) with the source but-
ton (11).
3. Switch the micro button (on the microphone) to ON.
4. You can adjust the volume of the microphone with
the MIC VOL regulator (13).
5. You can produce an echo effect with the MIC ECHO
regulator (14).
6. When not in use, turn off the microphone.
ATTENTION:
In order to avoid acoustic feedback (high whistling
tone), use the microphone outside of the speaker
wave radiation zone.
Radio
1. Turn on the appliance as explained.
2. Repeatedly push the SOURCE button (11), until the
FM-LED (3) lights up.
3. If you are listening to the radio for the first time with
this appliance or changed locations, push the SCAN
button (8) now. The radio searches for available sta-
tions and saves them automatically (up to 19 stations
can be saved).
4. After searching for stations you can select one of the
saved stations by repeatedly pushing the buttons
CH- (9) and CH+ (10).
Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a technology for wireless radio connection
of appliances over a short distance. Appliances with
Bluetooth Standard omit between 2.402 and 2.480 GHz
in ISM-band (Industrial, Scientific and Medical). Interfer-
ences may be caused by WLAN networks, DAB radios,
wireless telephones or microwave ovens that operate in
the same frequency band.
This appliance can use a device with bluetooth func-
tion. The function radius is limited to approx. 15 metres
depending on the spatial situation and the device used.
