Risks of injury
Risk of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the

packaging material.
Risk of injury associated with the device! This device must
■
not be used by children. The device and its connection line must
be kept away from children. The mains cord must also not be
accessible for children. They could pull the device down with it.
This device may be used by persons with impaired physical,
■
sensory or mental abilities or who lack experience and/or knowl-
edge if they are supervised or have been instructed on how to
use the device safely and have understood risks arising from
using the device.
Children must not play with the device.

If the device is not supervised, before assembling, disassem-
■
bling or cleaning the device, it must always be disconnected
from the power supply.
Burn hazard associated with hot surfaces! Parts of the de-

vice may become very hot during or directly after use. Always
use potholders or kitchen gloves when opening the lid, remov-
ing the steamer unit, the basket insert and when adding or re-
moving food. Only take hold of the mixing bowl by the handle!
Scalding hazard due to steam emission! Be careful when

opening the lid or removing the steamer unit.

vice if there is hot liquid in the mixing bowl.
Be careful when handling the steamer unit! Hot water may col-

lect in the intermediate panel and steamer adapter! Be careful
when removing them!
Risk of injury associated with food spraying out of the de-

vice! Hold the measuring cup fi rmly when chopping up food
(e.g. ice cubes) at elevated speeds (7 and higher) or when hold-
ing down the pulse button.
