1. General Information

1.1 Uses
The mobile submersile motor-driven pump unit is suitable for use as a
transportable wet-well installation. For ease of handling the mobile
pump has been assembled in a stainless steel tubular frame with
2 coils. Both the pump and the tubular frame can be submersed in the
flow medium.

1.2 Product data

1.2.1 Series specifications

2. Safety

Basic safety information, which must be observed when setting up
and operating the pump, must be taken from the pump's installation
and operating instructions.

3. Transport and storage

During transportation the pump may only be sus-

pended using the eyelets on the pump or the
tubular frame. The stainless steel cooling jacket
must be protected against physical damage and
pressure.

4. Description of product and accessories

frame with 20 m connecting cable and connector,
– Tubular frame (pos.

holders for the transport of the switch box, cable basket and clamps
for the float switch,
– Quadrant pipe (pos.
) with Storz coupling mounted on the pump
at the pipe mounts. Once the flange screws have been loosened,
the quadrant pipe can be turned to the left or the right so that the
pressure tube can also be connected vertically in 45° steps. See
installation and operation instructions for the pump.
– Float switch (pos.
) with 20 m connecting cable and connector,
– Ready-to-connect power supply cable in switch box with EEC
plug (pos.
).
– The switch box (pos.
) contains:
– the protective combination for starting up the pump,
– the control logic for the float switch,
– the protective motor switch,
– the evaluation logic (SK 545) for the coil-protection-contact which
prevents the motor from overloading,
– the evaluation logic (SK 545) for monitoring the seals which indica-
tes the presence of water in the motor.
– the system which monitors the phase sequence (SK 545)
The pump and the float switch are both connected to the switch
box using a lockable industrial connector fitted with a catch.
– Installation and operating instructions for the pump and the installation,
– A switch plan is also included.

– The use of a fault current protective switch is recommended.
– The unit is connected to the mains using a EEC socket (16 A/32 A).

– The protective motor switch is to be set to the nominal motor

6. Operation

6.1 Controlling the direction of rotation:
The correct direction of rotation must be tested before the pump
is immersed. This direction is indicated by the arrow (ROTOR-
ROTATION) on the upper side of the gyroscope chamber.
– Hang the pump in the hoist.
– Switch on the pump for a short period of time (switch should be set
The following operating elements are located on the front plate of
the switch box:
– Control switch for setting the following modes: "Manual", "O" and
"automatic",
– Green light to indicate that the pump is in operation,
– Red light to indicate a fault,
tion where it is to be installed. The hoist should be set up on the
premises.
The pump should only be suspended using the
pump's transportation eyelets or the tubular frame.
Before letting the pump down, the switch gear
should be removed from the tubular frame.
– It must be ensured that the tube is not ripped off or
knocked off unintentionally or uncontrolledly.
The pump should be prevented from falling over or
moving away from the spot where it has been in-
stalled.

set to this minimum level.
The mechanical seal must not be allowed to run dry.

by a qualified electrician. Current national regulations must
be observed (e.g. VDE regulations in Germany).
