should be as thin as possible and fit close to the head to minimize acoustic leakage.
2:1 Foldable headband
(B:1)(B:2) Slide out the cups and tilt the top of the cup out, as the cable must be on the
outside of the headband.
(B:3) Adjust the height of the cups by sliding them up or down while holding the headband in
place.
(B:4) The headband should be positioned across the top of your head.
(B:5) When small size range is needed for fitting, attach a HY450/1 (available as accessory)
on the inside of the headband to fit between the top of the head and the headband.
3. USAGE/FUNCTIONS
3:1 Inserting batteries
Open the right side shell by sliding the clip out/down. Remove the shell. Insert batteries,
(2xAAA) in the battery compartment. Make sure the polarity of the batteries is correct.
Put the shell back in position and slide the clip back up. Low battery level is indicated by a
three tones signal, repeated times with decreased interval.
3:2 Switching the headset on and off
Press and hold the On/Off button for two seconds to switch the headset on or off. A tone will
confirm that the unit has been switched on or off. The last setting is always saved when the
headset is switched off. The headset is automatically powered off after two hours of no active
functions. This is indicated by a tone signals the last minute, then the headset switches off.
3:3 Volume
The volume of the level-dependent function for ambient listening is continuously adjustable
from min to max. The combined volume of the external input and the ambient listening
function is limited to 82 dB(A) effective to the ear. The amplification of the ambient listening is
toned down when an external signal comes in through the external input. Press and hold the
(+) or (-) button to increase or decrease the volume to preferred setting.
Note! When the ambient listening function is min mode, no ambient sound will not be attenu-
ated, which could be hazardous.
